MASTER PLANNING
The Hope Valley Wattleup Redevelopment Project (HVWRP) Master Plan is the town planning scheme that guides land use and development in the area.
The Master Plan was finalised on March 4, 2005. The Master Plan addresses land uses, environmental and heritage aspects, infrastructure, economics, statutory requirements, social impacts, job creation and future directions of industrial development.
The Transition of the Hope Valley and Wattleup townsites to facilitate industrial, commercial and business activities is a key focus of the Master Plan and an integral component of the Social Transition Strategy.
Development of the Master Plan - by a team of highly experienced experts - involved careful consideration of global industrial development trends, Perth's future economic profile and world's best practice sustainability principles.
